I see that you offer two different types of My K-Cup® filters, how do I know which one to choose?

We offer this My K-Cup® filter that is compatible with classic Keurig® brewer models K40-K79 and this My K-Cup® filter specifically designed to be used with Keurig® 2.0. They are not interchangeable and will only operate in the intended brewer models.  If you are not sure which one you have refer to the chart below:

The My K-Cup® filter I purchased does not seem to work, what should I do?

Give us a call 888-774-6939 or email [email protected], we would be happy to help troubleshoot the issue, no matter where you purchased the unit from.

What water setting should I use when brewing with the My K-cup® reusable coffee filter?

All of them! The filter is designed to make delicious coffee with any of the water settings of your Keurig® brewer (4-12 ounces).

What is the best way to clean the My K-Cup® reusable filter?

Both models are top rack dishwasher safe or simply wash it by hand with a small amount of mild soap and water.

I grind my own coffee, what grind level works best?

We recommend using a coarse ground coffee with the My K-Cup® filter. Anything finer than what you would use in a French Press can get caught in the brew needles of your Keurig® brewer. In addition, Keurig® brewer technology produces an optimal cup of coffee with a coarse grind.

Can I make hot chocolate in the Keurig® with the My K-Cup® reusable filter?

No. You can not use anything in the My K-Cup® reusable filter other than coffee. Any other substance, including hot cocoa or tea, will get stuck in the brew needles of your coffee maker.

There are grinds in my cup, what should I do?

Don't panic, this is easily fixed. Simply remove the My K-Cup® adapter and run a water-only brew cycle. You can then return to brewing with your filter and you should see no grounds in your mug.

Can I brew a carafe if I am using a Keurig® 2.0 machine?

Unfortunately, no. The My K-cup® filter is not capable of the carafe size brew.
